The Good Mad and yes I watch The Lying Game.

Hey Kiddies.

So I guess I should just go ahead and admit that I watch The Lying Game on ABC Family. But no, wait, YOU GUYS, ABC Family is all about drama and murder and teenagers not acting like teenagers. I mean hello, Pretty Little Liars, NOT a family show. It’s incredibly scandalous and entertaining… but I digress. While The Lying Game is pretty damn stupid and although I do not endorse watching it, it did lead me to this little gem of a group. May I present, The Good Mad.

So blondie up there, aka Allie Gonino, plays little sis’ on the aforementioned ABC Family drama, where her character (in getting over a boy OF COURSE) gets up in the middle of a random party and performs with her real life band (you know in the guise of discovering her self confidence or whatever.) But then, holy shit, it was actually pretty great.

And just what are you getting yourself into you ask? Well it’s the folky sort of vibe that we love here: a little Mumford meets Head & The Heart meets people who wear strange hats. Also the vocal harmonies are fucking honey.

They only have a few songs I can find but both are excellent and with promises of more you should probably check them out now, don’t worry, nobody knows what the Lying Game is, and anyway… I won’t tell if you don’t.

Sleeper Agent is doing anything but sleeping.

I can’t actually remember how or where I heard about Sleeper Agent, but I like them. I like them a lot. They kind of remind me of a weird combo of…oh I don’t know, every garage-band-strokes-imitating-new-indie-rock band we’ve heard this year. But seriously guys, who fucking cares? This song is good. It makes me happy. I would play this at a party and I would dance down the street like an idiot when it came onto my iPod and maybe I would even twirl. You hear that? They get two twirls up from me. Its got a great energy, and while the sound is familiar its still the best parts of what we fell in love with originally. Also I like anything that has to do with spys and espionage and things of that nature.

So anyway, suck it hipsters.

If you dig this, just go download the “Cant Hardly Wait” and/or “10 Things I Hate About You” soundtracks. Yeah i said it, they Letters To Cleo’ed that shit haaaard.

We hope you will come and follow us at our new place and time and forgive us while we learn how to use this confusing shit the internet calls “wordpress”

And we thought we were tech savvy.
